Clark Kent has quite the story, His momma Budhas Walla Wanda died shortly after Clark was born, she had an interior bleed that the UC Davis doctors could not stop. Clark was able to stand and nurse from Wanda for his first 12 hours of life, but then after his mother was put down, it became Jalinda Covey’s job to feed Clark every 2 hours for 12 days until they found a nurse mare for Clark. Clark stole the hearts of everyone who came to see him. He would follow everyone around the ranch during the day, following Jalinda into the lab to watch her make his warm milk, patiently waiting to drink it from his bowl. He loved visiting his older brothers and sisters through the fence and then at night he had a pet goat Emmie to keep him company. When Clark was 12 days old he was introduced to his surrogate mom, Faye (kindly donated to us from Deanna Clark Dougherty) After bonding with his new mom, Clark was able to grow up in the pasture with his brother and sisters. He holds a very special place in our hearts because of the bond we have made. Fast forward to Clark turning 2 yrs old. He started like a champion and did everything that was asked of him. After a few months into his training, Clark was started on cows and took right to it. He is a joy to ride because he is so smooth at everything he does. Jalinda wanted Clark to be her next cutting horse, but Clark had other plans, he kept growing. By the time Clark was 3 yrs old, he was almost 15 hands and a big beefy colt, so we decided to let him grow up and not put pressure on him to become something his body couldn’t handle. When Clark turned 4 yrs old we sent him to great trainer, Andy Holcomb to start him in roping. The plan was to start showing him the following year but Clark had other plans, when he was turned out to play, he over reached and his hind foot stepped on his front foot, tearing his annular ligament. This meant Clark was on R & R to recover. Fast forward to Clark’s 6 yr old year, we decided to send him to Texas (where all the roping shows are held) to the great trainer, Jordan Allyn. Despite Clark getting shipping fever on the trailer ride to Texas, he still recovered and was able to start his roping career. Jordan and Clark had a stellar year together. For Clark’s first year of roping, he was able to make finals against great seasoned horses. April 25, 2024 at the AQHA Show in Ardmore, OK AGR Clark Kent and Jordan Allyn Performance Horses won 26 AQHA points today!! They earned 20 points in the heading and 6 points in the heeling. They finished 2nd, 3rd and 5th in the heading with over 50 entries and finished 7th two times in the heeling.April 26, 2024 at the AQHA Show in Ardmore, OK AGR Clark Kent and Jordan Allyn Performance Horses had another outstanding day earning 9 more AQHA points in heading and 14 more point in the heeling
They were 1st and 8th in the heading and 3rd in the heeling under both judges. 
They won the Open heading circuit and the Level 2 Heading Circuit. They won 2nd in the Open heeling circuit and 
First in the level 2 heeling circuit and he qualified for the AQHA World Show in both events!!Jordan Allyn and AGR Clark Kent went on to win almost $30K and 56 AQHA points Heading and Healing for his first year to show. This is AMAZING! AND to add to this amazement, AGR Clark Kent was hauled into Weatherford Equine to get collected because customers bred some mares to him!
